Ejelta LLC built 'Where Am I?' app as an Ad Supported Service with an option to purchase an ad removal. This Service is intended for use as is.
This page is to inform app users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
For the purpose of providing "Where Am I?" service the app collects your geographical location (a latitude, a longitude, and an elevation). That location is then shared with Google Geocoder service to be converted to a street address. The location is also used in requesting additional information from Ejelta LLC servers.
The location shared with Ejelta LLC servers is anonymous and does not include your advertising ID or other personally identifiable information. The only information available to Ejelta LLC servers is your current IP address and location. Location requests are regularly rotated and purged without keeping any long term copies.
The app uses third party services that may collect information used to identify you.
The app provides an option to purchase an "Ad removal". When that option is purchased all ad tracking is removed and nothing is shared with Google AdMob service.
In a case of an error in the app we collect data and information through Google Play Services called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
When the app connects to Ejelta LLC and other external servers it does so over the internet. The app uses TLS encrypted connections on all requests to limit the ability of internet service providers to see the data being transferred.
We are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting information collected by the app. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The 'Where Am I?' app is not intended as a service for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
